Is The Live Boat Instagram Video Even Real?
Thanks to people pausing, taking screenshots, and really zooming in on the photo… The internet sleuths have been able to identify the boat. Turns out, it is not the kind of boat someone wouldn’t be able to use to travel from the United States to Mexico. Those who recognized the boat noted it would never make that kind of journey. Some have pointed out the plastic milk jug is strange because Brian Laundrie claims to be someone who would never use plastic bottles. A few people have called attention to the fishing line in part of the clip. And, there have also been camouflage crocs spotted in the video. Do these shoes belong to Brian Laundrie?
Now, airing on the side of caution… None of the videos or screenshots of the alleged live Instagram footage features Brian’s name or profile picture. If someone screen recorded this Instagram live video… There would have been a profile picture and his display name across the top. So, there is a possibility this alleged live Instagram video is fake. After all, there hasn’t been any proof to confirm it is real.
Moreover, people just have a hard time believing Brian Laundrie could go live on Instagram without the authorities investigating Gabby Petito’s case being able to find him. Some, however, have noted that a burner phone — which he had days to acquire before being reported missing — would easily answer that question.
Gabby Petito Case: Has Brian Laundrie Been Active On Social Media?
There is chatter that Brian Laundrie has recently liked posts on Facebook. There has also been chatter that he’s been following and unfollowing people on Instagram. Following and unfollowing someone on Instagram is a two-way street. Technically, the person being followed has the power to boot someone from following them. So, it is possible who he is following and unfollowing on the platform isn’t actually his doing.
All Eyes Are On Brian Laundrie
Presently, his following on Instagram continues to climb as it was 245,000 just a few days ago. And, as of right now, his following just broke 320,000. So, it is safe to assume that if Brian has some sort of activity on his social media profiles… Someone is going to notice it.
