Rebel Wilson made royal fans do a double-take. She recreated one of Meghan Markle’s iconic looks. She showed off her incredible weight loss in the same red gown once worn by the Duchess of Sussex. Rebel is feeling herself lately and it shows.

The Aussie has been honest about her transformation. Previously, she showed off her new body at the NFL Honors this week. And it was no different when she got dolled up for her latest appearance for her upcoming project, Pooch Perfect. This time, Rebel wore the same gown that was previously worn by style icon Meghan Markle.

The Bridesmaids actress get regal in red

As per People, Rebel Wilson wore a red cape dress from the British luxury brand Safiyaa. It’s the same dress that Meghan Markle wore in 2020 while attending a military music festival with her husband Prince Harry. The 40-year-old posted a series of photos on Instagram. In the caption, she admitted that she was “Loving myself SICK in this dress!”

In the slideshow of photos, Rebel struck up a pose at the event. Her stylist, Elizabeth Stewart, shared even more photos. In the caption, she wrote: “Closest we’ve come to a red carpet moment in a while! @rebelwilson in @safiyaa_official on the set of @poochperfect.”

But Rebel kept her look as simple as possible. She paired the jaw-dropping dress with matching red heels. The comedian also didn’t wear a clutch nor any jewelry. She wore her blonde hair in soft waves. At the time, Meghan accessorized her look with Leigh pumps from Stuart Weitzman with a Manolo Blahnik clutch back, all in red.

Rebel Wilson dumped Jacob Busch via text message

This comes after Rebel Wilson and Jacob Busch decided to end their relationship. An insider told Us Weekly that the actress broke up with the Anheuser-Busch via text message. The insider may have also hinted that Rebel ghosted her boyfriend before dumping him. It’s unclear why she broke off things between them.

“They went to Aspen right before the holidays and had a blast,” the insider explained. “Then, he left for Florida to be with his family, and he invited her because he really wanted her to meet [them] but she never committed to doing that. They talked all throughout the holidays and had excellent communication, but then, all of a sudden, she got really quiet and broke up with him via text message about two or three weeks ago.”

Jacob hasn’t taken kindly to the split. He is “really upset” with Rebel, according to the source. But he does not have any “ill-will towards her.” Jacob has “been crazy about her ever since 2019,” but Rebel wants to move on.

The actress embarked on a weight-loss journey

Rebel Wilson is focused on her weight-loss journey. She exercises six days a week and does a combination of high-intensity interval training, mobility, and straight training, according to her trainer Jono Castano. But she wants to still look like herself instead of looking too skinny.
