How H&M will spend Christmas with the royals
The royal family will have to learn how to use Zoom this Christmas. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions in the United Kingdom and the U.S., the couple will have to find a way to keep in touch with the royal family. Insiders told ET Online that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will communicate with them via Zoom calls. Despite their controversial exit from the BRF, they plan to check in with the royal family.
“The family is planning Zoom calls and games online because they can’t all spend Christmas at Sandringham together like they normally do,” an insider told ET Online.
This comes after a report revealed that Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will break tradition and spend the holidays at Windsor Castle. Despite the onslaught of reports and rumors, the royal family is on good terms. Whatever conflict happened has finally been resolved.
“Everyone is on better terms and have been for quite some time,” the insider continued. “The relationship has improved and COVID has brought everyone closer together.”
How does Prince Harry feel about Prince William?
Earlier this year, Prince Charles and Prince William tested positive for COVID-19. The insider told the outlet that both health struggles allowed Harry to reconnect with his family. As fans know, Harry and Meghan stepped down from their senior royal positions in March. British tabloids claimed that caused a stir at Kensington Palace.
“Harry was very concerned for his brother and father when they both contracted the disease,” the source explained. “While there have been disagreements like there are in every family, the brotherly bond remains intact despite tabloid reports.”
There have also been reports about the brothers’ strained relationship. One incident that bonded them since is “watching the investigation closely” into the actions by the BBC’s Martin Bashir, who held a controversial interview with their late mother, Princess Diana. Ever since the 1995 interview leaked, an independent investigation into Bashir’s methods was launched.
Does the couple have plans to return to the UK?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may plan to return to the United Kingdom. The couple wants to reunite with the royal family, another source told ET Online earlier this week.
“While there had been plans to return to the U.K. for Meghan’s case against Associated Newspapers and the Mail on Sunday in January, given the postponement until next fall, there are no imminent plans to return to the U.K. given the travel restrictions related to the pandemic,” the source added.
The couple will have a quiet Christmas in California. They will spend time with Archie and Doria Ragland, according to the insider. Also, Meghan’s mom will help them make some of their “favorite dishes with Harry and Doria pitching in.”
