Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden recently missed his first team practice after attending a birthday party without wearing a face mask. It’s no secret that the NBA has strict rules regarding the health and safety of its players. There are speculations saying that Harden intentionally went to the party to let his voice be heard. Apparently, Harden wants to be traded to a contender team. He believes that the Rockets are no longer capable of reaching the finals. There are reports claiming that Harden is interested in getting traded to the Brooklyn Nets. There are also a lot of other teams that are showing their interests in Harden. However, Harden needs to get tested multiple times before getting back to the court.
NBA: James Harden Needs Six Negative Covid-19 Results
According to the NBA, Houston Rockets star James Harden must have six negative results from Covid-19 before he’s allowed to play again. Rockets head coach, Stephen Silas was also uncertain about their next steps for Harden. According to him, “We’re just trying to iron all that stuff out right now.” Harden has been asking to Rockets to trade him to a contender team. The Rockets recently traded Russell Westbrook for John Wall. Some fans think that the Rockets did a bad decision of letting go of Westbrook. Apparently, Wall had several injuries in the past, making him a very fragile player. Westbrook’s departure was also believed to fuel Harden’s willingness to leave the team. At this point, Harden has yet to reveal any information about his test results.
James Harden’s Mother Defended His Behavior
In a social media post, James Harden’s mother, Monja Willis, defended her son’s recent behavior. According to her, “He is doing the best for his career…He is asking for a chance to get a ring that’s it.” While it wasn’t clear which team was Harden’s mom referring to, fans believe that it was the Brooklyn Nets. Apparently, the Nets have Kyrie Irving and Harden’s teammate back in Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant. Combining the three will create the most dangerous trio in the league, which could lead to Harden’s first championship ring. Now, it’s only up to the Rockets if they’re willing to give Harden the opportunity.
NBA: A Fan Asked Harden The Million Dollar Question
In a social media post, a fan passed by James Harden while driving. The fan took the opportunity to ask Harden the million-dollar question, “You gonna stay in Houston?” Harden didn’t react as he was talking to someone on his phone. A guy eventually stopped the fan from recording Harden. A few moments later, the two went into a heated argument. The video ended up with the fan seemingly getting out of his car to approach the guy who stopped him. One fan commented, “He get out the car to fight? Looked like he was bout to.” Another fan also said, “That’s the MULTImillion dollar question.”
The NBA 2020-21 season will begin on Tuesday, December 22.
