One of the questions country singer Reba McEntire gets all the time is fans asking about her television show. Her self-titled sitcom, Reba, aired for six seasons on two different networks. Could the show get a reboot?

Reba Still a Popular Sitcom Years After Cancellation

Reba McEntire is more than just a singer. She has made appearances in many TV shows and movies, even starring alongside Kevin Bacon in Tremors. So, fans were excited when she landed her own sitcom on the WB network in 2001. As hardcore fans know, Reba McEntire is HILARIOUS.

In 2006, the WB rebranded as the CW network and luckily, Reba was part of the transition. The show ran for one season on the CW before getting the cancellation notice. But fans still enjoy reruns or streaming the TV series.

The show co-starred Melissa Peterman, Christopher Rich, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Steve Howey. Reba McEntire is still extremely close to Melissa Peterman. In fact, the two launched a podcast, Living & Learning with Reba McEntire, earlier this year.

Singer Would ‘Love’ to Bring Back Show

Reba McEntire was a recent guest on the Bravo show Watch What Happens Live. During a fan question segment, a fan asked about the idea of bringing the show back. Reba told host Andy Cohen that she would be interested in rebooting the show.

The singer feels the show has “a lot more topics to talk about, stories to tell.”

A few years after her sitcom ended, Reba McEntire was approached to join the judging panel on The Voice. She ultimately turned it down and it went to Blake Shelton instead. During her WWHL appearance, she revealed why she turned it down.

Despite turning down The Voice, Reba McEntire isn’t turning down all offers! She is a recurring guest star on the CBS show Young Sheldon. She also has another show in the works.

Reba McEntire Will Be Returning to TV Soon!

Young Sheldon isn’t her only television stint. She co-hosted this year’s CMA awards earlier this week. She will also star in and produce an NBC series of the novel Fried Green Tomatoes.

The book was famously made into a 1991 movie starring Kathy Bates, Jessica Tandy, Mary Stuart Masterson, and Mary-Louise Parker. NBC has yet to begin filming the new series.

In the meantime, the singer is keeping busy. PEOPLE notes that Reba has no plans to retire anytime soon.
