Everyone has heard of red flags in a relationship, such a texting other men or women. Or turning over the phone whenever a message comes in or saying they’ll call back and never do. Yet, what about when a man brags? It may seem charming to them to boast, but it could signal that you need to run. So, what are eight things men brag about that should be watched for? First off, if they brag that they are going to a place of worship constantly. Although knowing he is a man of faith could be endearing and attractive, some feel it’s a sign he is self-centered.

Then, if they brag about how nice they are, that’s a problem. Many want a good man, but they also don’t need to be told it in abundance. Likely, they are just trying to convince you or themselves. This goes hand in hand with them stating that they are honest. Most likely, they are again trying to convince you or themselves of this. The fourth possible red flag is bragging about money. It is great that they may have it and are hard workers, but those who are well off rarely need to boast. It’s a sign of insecurity and arrogance to do so.

The sixth is when they love to talk about fighting or winning these fights. That is a poor character trait and makes them sound slightly insane. Then, the seventh is bragging about crazy exes. Why do they have to bring this up, and maybe it is them that is the problem. Finally, the last of the red flags is a man who will solve any and all problems.

When a man brags about being an easy problem solver, it is annoying. More so, it makes them act like they know absolutely everything, and that may not be the case. It’s one of the biggest red flags and reasons that anyone would and should be turned off. Sometimes, we want to believe the best in people, and that is just fine. However, there is a limit, and if being a braggart isn’t bad enough, think about what they boast about.
