Counting On alum James Duggar is back with new updates about his life. The 23-year-old is one of Jim Bob and Michelle’s most outgoing sons today. He likes to spend time with some of his friends, doing adrenaline-filled activities, and traveling across countries. Counting On: James Duggar Continues To Help Sister Jana
James has been appearing in Jana’s recent vlogs, helping out with the renovation of her fixer-upper in Nebraska. The oldest Duggar daughter is thankful for all the help she’s receiving from her siblings and parents. James couldn’t hide his happiness for his newlywed sister as well. In August, the Counting On alum shared a lengthy message saying that watching his sister marry the man of her dreams filled his heart with so much joy. “She’s found an amazing, godly man who truly complements her in every way,” he added before saying he’s looking forward to their future as a married couple.
James Shares Glimpse Of His New Career
In an Instagram post, James Duggar shared photos and clips from what appears to be his workplace. One of the pictures shows a massive garage with multiple vintage cars parked. There’s also a clip of James wandering around a huge warehouse filled with hardware supplies. It seems James Duggar is currently working for a construction company. The Counting On alum has also proven to everyone that he’s a car mechanic by repairing the Duggar family’s travel bus.

Counting On: James Duggar Next To Enter Courtship?
There are also speculations that James Duggar is the next family member to enter courtship. The Counting On alum was once rumored to be linked with a Langdon daughter. The rumors were further fueled when James attended Emma Langdon’s graduation party in Tennessee. Unfortunately, James remained discreet about his relationship status as he focused more on his career.
One of the latest Duggar weddings was Maddie Grace and Jason Duggar. The two tied the knot in a fall-themed mountain wedding in Tennessee on October 3, 2024. Many were also surprised that the two have already exchanged vows after initially hinting they’re tying the knot in Spring 2025. This sparked discussions that Maddie Grace may have already been pregnant before their wedding.
