Counting On alum James Duggar recently made headlines after sharing his trip to Australia with some of his friends. He has been rumored to rebel against his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, which may be the reason why he’s been traveling over the past few months. Many are also curious about where he is getting all the funds for his expensive adventures. He also wiped his YouTube account filled with the family’s vlogs. Counting On: Is James Duggar Rebelling Against His Parents?
James recently shared a series of clips about his recent trip to Australia. He was accompanied by some of his friends. Some were also surprised that he doesn’t have any siblings with him, creating speculation that he’s rebelling and decided to take a trip on his own. The speculations that his struggles began in a June 30th post, where he talked about how he deals with frustrations.
He has also been breaking the rules of the family over the past few months. Many of his YouTube vlogs feature his dangerous activities with his friends. Some of them are road trips where they drive too fast and even use cars to play soccer. However, the Counting On alum suddenly wiped his YouTube channel for unknown reasons, which also took away a possible income.
Where Does James Live Today?
It’s been reported that James still resides with his family in Tontitown, Arkansas. He spends a lot of time outdoors and pays some of his siblings a visit. In September, the former Counting On star went to his sister Joy-Anna’s house. He’s been close to Jill as well, despite her estrangement from the family. Though he hasn’t talked about his sister since the release of her book, “Counting The Cost,” which talks about the questionable teachings of the IBLP and exposes the negative side of their parents.
Counting On: What Is James Duggar Up To?
Real estate has been a long-time family business for the Duggars. James has also inherited his father’s and older siblings’ building skills. However, it seems that he’s more interested in being a vehicle mechanic. In March, the Counting On alum shared a photo of himself modifying the family’s bus. He likes to drive construction vehicles as well.
James Duggar has not attended college. He graduated from high school in 2019 through a homeschooling program. He also attended ALERT Academy and finished his basic training in May 2019. In 2020, he received his Commercial Driver’s License. The 13th Duggar child has yet to share his relationship status. Though he’s been rumored to be with a significant other during his trip to Australia.
