Bringing Up Bates stars Chad and Erin Bates Paine are one of the few couples who live far from the Bates family. The two moved to Florida in 2023. It was a huge adjustment for them, especially with the life they used to have in Tennessee. But it seems Chad and Erin are planning to make another major decision this year. Bringing Up Bates: How Are Chad & Erin Bates Today?
Many things have happened in Erin’s family over the past few weeks. One of them is the passing of Chad’s grandfather. In an Instagram post, Chad paid tribute to his grandfather by expressing how thankful he is that he was a part of his life. “Grandpa Paine, we miss you so much. Heaven will be sweeter because you are there. We’ve shed many tears, but we are so grateful for the legacy you left. You were a beautiful reflection of Christ in your life and ministry,” the Bringing Up Bates star said.
Aside from the loss, Erin also shared a new clip featuring their family beach trip with Tori and Bobby Smith. However, their latest trip was also her way to relish her possible final moments in Florida.
Chad & Erin Leaving Florida?
Chad and Erin recently took to YouTube to share a short video announcing their decision to move. According to the Bringing Up Bates stars, the owner of their rental home finally sold their house, leaving them no other option but to relocate. The married couple said that they tried to talk things out with the owner, but they weren’t able to come up with a lease renewal.
Several commenters feel bad for the two as they seemingly got kicked out. However, Erin Bates Paine previously stated that they never desired to purchase the home. Erin and Chad didn’t share where they’d go next. But some fans hope that they will reunite with the Bates family in Tennessee.
Bringing Up Bates: Will Erin Bates Follow Katie’s Footsteps?
Katie and Travis made headlines earlier this year after relocating back to Tennessee. According to Katie, the main purpose of their move was to support Travis’ music career. Katie and Travis are also expecting their second child, and many Bringing Up Bates fans are glad that Katie is close to her family amid her pregnancy.
It’s unclear if Erin Bates Paine will follow in Katie’s footsteps and move back to Tennessee with her husband and kids. But it’s known that Chad runs a construction business, Paine Construction, in DeLand, Florida, which could be a problem if they left the state.
