Counting On: Jill Dillard Already Receiving Support
Jill took to Instagram Stories to share that she’s already receiving support from her fans and friends ahead of her book’s release. Her sister-in-law also expressed her excitement and helped the former TLC star promote. Counting The Cost is set to be released on September 12, 2023. Some fans also find it odd that the release is a day before Michelle Duggar’s birthday. Additionally, several family members are already looking forward to getting a copy, including Jinger Vuolo and Amy King.
Jill Gets Emotional As Book Reaches Final Stages
Jill shared a lengthy message on Instagram as her book reached its final touches. According to the former Counting On star, she finally received the printed manuscript of her work. She added that she cried and prayed over it. The mother-of-three also shared that writing Counting The Cost has been an emotional and difficult journey. The fourth Duggar child revealed that she will be making a few edits before it gets published. On the other hand, Derick continues to stay quiet on social media. It appears he’s been busy with his work as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma.
Counting On: Will The Duggars Show Support?
At this point, nobody from the Duggar family in Arkansas has mentioned Jill’s upcoming title. But it’s safe to say that they’re aware of her project and what the book aims to discuss. However, there are speculations that the Duggars are setting the issues aside for the sake of their relationships, especially after Dillard’s appearances at recent family get-togethers. The Duggar daughter was even spotted giving her mother a hug during their all-girls meetup earlier this year.
Counting On alums Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have addressed the Amazon Prime Video documentary about them and the IBLP. They were saddened by how it portrayed them negatively. Though they remained discreet regarding Jill Dillard’s involvement in the series.
