Counting On star Jill Duggar recently went headlines after sharing how she handles her son Sam’s dust allergy. Apparently, Jill shared pictures and clips of her putting Sam’s stuffed toys in the freezer to kill dust mites. Now, Jill took social media to share another busy day with the kids as they fix some things in their garden. Aside from that, Jill also shared their family’s creativity by simply using sticks and yarn. Meanwhile, fans can’t enough of how fast Israel is growing.
Counting On: Jill Duggar Shares Garden Fun Time With Kids
In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared clips of her garden fun time with her kids. Apparently, Jill is feeding her plants with a special fertilizer as they haven’t been growing so well lately. Israel is also there to help his mother feed the plants. Jill also said that she put too much in her potted plants last year and they sprouted mushrooms. Due to this, she’s using a tablespoon to measure the amount that she’s going to put in her plants. Jill also said that she’s nervous if it’s going to work. However, she’s hoping that the new strategy will help her plants grow.
Jill also shared that she followed some tips that the fans gave her about scaring off hornworms that infested her garden last week, and it’s been very effective so far. According to Jill, she put cinnamon around the base of her plants and she hasn’t seen a hornworm ever since. Jill revealed that most of her plants got eaten last week and most of her sunflowers died as well. After that, Jill revealed that she’s thinking about raising her garden a little bit higher next year.
Jill Shares Her Family’s Creativity
In a social media post, Counting On star Jill Duggar shared the creativity of her kids by using only simple things. Apparently, Jill and her kids crafted wall decorations with sticks and yarn. Jill also shared pictures of Sam and Israel having so much fun making the wall decorations. “The boys and I had fun making our own little macrame wall hangings!” Jill said. “They had fun collecting sticks, then we used some yarn I got from the thrift store to create these fun little wall pieces!” she added.
Counting On: Fans Are Surprised By Israel’s Grown-Up Picture
After sharing their wall decorations, Counting On fans took Jill Duggar’s comment section to talk about how big Israel has become. “Holy moly, I didn’t even recognize Israel! He looks like he’s 10 years old! Love those projects. We add seashells to them or shiny beach glass,” one fand said. “Why does Israel look so grown?!?” another fan added. Israel isn’t the only one who’s receiving the same comment from the fans. At one point, fans were amazed by Sam’s grown-up picture during their water park trip with Derick Dillard’s mother.
