The standard NWA Powerrr is off this week and in its place is NWA Powerrr Surge. Powerrr Surge is more of a recap show with a focus on interviews and less matches. Powerrr Surge has been confirmed to drop once a month before the NWA returns with their traditional episode of Powerrr the following week.
Top women’s contender Kamille was interviewed at the announce table and seemed frustrated with his status in Strickly Business. She spoke about standing her ground in the NWA, directing her attention towards a potential match in the future with Thunder Rosa.
The premiere episode of NWA #PowerrrSurge on @FiteTV is LIVE!
Right now, @JoeGalliNews & @mayradiasgomes are having a hard time keeping a heated @Parrow_ planted during tonight's first hard-hitting interview.
We've got @RealNickAldis, Kamille, @Plunkitis and Mims still to come. pic.twitter.com/bT3qqlqdBp

Parrow also joined the announce table to voice his anger about not being given a bigger opportunity in the NWA. The big man explained that he was in Japan listening to everyone talk about NWA Powerrr, which only caused his anger to grow.
NWA Powerrr Surge: Interview with the champion
Nike Aldis was given the highlight interview where he spoke about his future as NWA champion and those who might be up to challenge him. Aldis was pressed on the status of Strictly Business, specifically about Kamille’s reaction earlier in the show. The NWA World Champion attempted to downplay any dissension in the group, noting that he was just keeping his eyes open for the future.
RIGHT NOW on NWA #PowerrrSurge only on @FiteTV, @RealNickAldis has a lot more to share just a week after last week's bombshell announcement on #NWAPowerrr.

NWA Powerrr Surge Exclusive Match
Mimms d. Jeremiah Plunkett
Highlights: Lockup to start as Jeremiah Plunkett gets the better of the exchange in the corner. Mimms whops Plunkett into the ropes and connects with multiple body slams before a big splash gets a two-count. Plunkett distracts the ref before connecting with a cheap shot to the throat of Mimms. Mimms counters a neckbreaker but eats a flying heel kick for another near fall. Plunkett regains control, applying a camel clutch until Mims breaks free with a backdrop and a belly-to-belly suplex. Mimms brushes off a right hand from Plunkett before hitting the Hook Up back suplex for the win.
Mims and @Plunkitis are GOING OFF on the debut episode of NWA #PowerrrSurge @FiteTV RIGHT NOW!!

Storyline Progression: Jeremiah Plunkett is a 16-year veteran who is making his debut on NWA Powerrr. Mimms has been featured in the National Wrestling Alliance in recent weeks and is a student of Plunket.
Final Analysis: Solid match to continue Mimms getting a push, this time with a win over his former teacher, Jeremiah Plunkett. Skim It. **1/2
