IMPACT Wrestling moves forward as several highlight matches are on tap this week. A tables match between Jake Something and Deaner is scheduled as the family grudge continues on. A 6-man tag team X-Divison match promises high flying and high impact action.
Each match at IMPACT Wrestling will be given a brief review and analysis. Then each match will be given a rating and be ranked from worst to best.

6) Eddie Edwards defeats Hernandez
Brian Myers shows a video clip of his lawyer excusing him from facing Eddie Edwards due to eye damage. Hernandez is the replacement who shows off his strength by powering Edwards around the ring. Edwards makes his comeback ad finishes off Hernandez in short order after the Boston Knee Party from the second rope.

Match Analysis: Not much to see here in regard to in-ring action as it was more to further an angle. Eddie Edwards gets the win and continues to look strong. Skim It. *1/2
Good Brothers’ defense
5) The Good Brothers defeated XXXL (Ace Romero & Larry D)
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows gain the early advantage on Larry D as The Good Brothers exchange tags. XXXL eventually use their size to briefly get the upper hand before Gallows gets the tag. The Good Brothers then wrap things up with the Magix Killer for the win.

Match Analysis: Decent enough match that gives the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Champions a clean win. Skim It. **1/4
IMPACT Wrestling: Knockouts Action
4) Jordynne Grace & Jazz defeats Kimber Lee & Susan
Jazz has her way to start with Susan before being distracted by Deonna Purrazzo. ODB comes to their aid but the referee kicks out everyone at ringside as we get a fair match-up before the commercial break. Back from the break and Jazz is on the defensive as Lee and Susan rotate tags to keep the match in their corner. Jordynne Grace with the tag as she hits a double team drop suplex onto Susan for a two-count. Susan attempts an ankle lock but it’s reversed into the Grace Driver by Grace for the win.

Match Analysis: Solid match as Jordynne Grace and Jazz become #1 contenders for the tag titles. Skim It. **1/4
Tables Match
3) Jake Something defeated Deaner
The ongoing feud between Violent by Design and Jake Something gets taken to another level in the form of a tables match. Deaner and Jake Something went all out to kick off IMPACT Wrestling. A creative spot by Deaner included a drop-toehold to Jake into a horizontal table. Several table spots were teased as they brawled to the entranceway. As they made their way back towards the ring, Jake hit a Black Hole Slam through the table for the win. After the match, Moose charged the ring and speared Jake through a table. Grabbing the mic, Moose threatened to hold the show hostage. IMPACT Vice President comes out and orders Moose to defend his TNA Title against Jake.

Match Analysis: Fun opening match that played well into the feud between both men. Jake Something getting the win was the right call in this spot. Worth a Watch. ***
X-Divison Action
2) Chris Bey, Ace Austin and Black Taurus defeated Willie Mack, Trey Miguel and Josh Alexander
The winning team will battle in a Triple Threat Match next week to become the #1 contenders to the X-Divison title. Chris Bey and Trey Miguel start things off with some nice chain wrestling. After Miguel gets the better of the exchange Bey tags in Ace Austin who doesn’t serve mich vetter. Willie Mack then enters along with Black Taurus as we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Josh Alexander counters a frankensteiner into a powerbomb as both men tag out to Miguel and Austin. The match breaks down as Austin gets a close two count following a running Blockbuster. Black Taurus then connects with a vicious torture rack backbreaker onto Austin before Alexander hits a German Suplex. Springboard cutter by Bey to Mack finishes the match off.

Match Analysis: As expected, a fun and exciting X-Divison tag match that sets up a #1 contenders match next week. IMPACT Wrestling has reloaded their X-Divison and it’s paying off. Worth a Watch. ***1/2
TNA Title Match
1) Moose defeated Jake Something
Jake Something attacks Moose during his entrance as we head to a quick commercial break. After the break, Jake continues his attack on the outside before tossing Moose into the ring. Jake is caught off guard as Moose gets on the offense. Jake ducks a charge as Moose goes over the top rope.

The TNA Champion shakes it off and takes the action back into the ring. Jake attempts a short arm closeline which is answered by a Moose headbutt. Another closeline by Jake turns Moose inside out before a Falcon Arrow gets a two-count. Jake makes his comeback with a pop-up powerbomb that gets a close 2 and a half count. Forearm exchange by both men as Moose hits three rock bottoms and a spear to finally finish. After the match, Rich Swann runs to the ring to brawl with Moose. A pull-apart is needed as a match between the two is finally announced for IMPACT Wrestling Sacrifice next month.

Match Analysis: This was a surprisingly good main event match. It really felt like it was bordering on great at times with both Moose and Jake Something showing chemistry. Moose getting the win was predictable but it didn’t take away from the enjoyment. Worth a Watch that is knocking on the door of a Must-Watch. ***3/4
