NBA: Warriors And Wizards Players Test Positive For COVID-19

The Golden State Warriors and the Washington Wizards have players tested positive for Covid-19. The Warriors are looking forward to reaching the finals next season. However, things may not go in their way as two of their players just tested positive for Covid-19. On the other hand, Wizards head coach Scott Brooks announced that an unnamed player is currently unable to play after being tested positive. With the 2021 NBA Season just a few days away, the Warriors and Wizards are now doing their best to keep all their players healthy.

According to Golden State Warriors General Manager Bob Myers, two of their players have tested positive for Covid-19. However, the rest of the team will proceed with the initial team workouts next week. Stephen Curry is also expected to make his return to the court and practice with the team. The Warriors have been making big moves recently as they look forward to a solid run next season. The team recently signed free agent Kent Bazemore, a 31-year-old veteran who can play both small forward and shooting guard positions. He’s a good all-around scorer with high defensive skills.

Wizards’ Unnamed Player Won’t Be Able To Participate In Training Camp This Week

NBA teams are already looking forward to next week’s training camp. Unfortunately, the Washington Wizards will have to miss one of their players at next week’s training. The unnamed player who got tested positive for Covid-19 is expected to wait 10 days before being monitored in independent workouts prior to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. Another problem that the Wizards are facing now is Davis Bertans’ visa issues. Apparently, Bertans doesn’t have a work visa yet, which means that he cant enter the U.S until he’s got an appropriate U.S work visa.

The Wizards also added a new veteran player to their team. They signed Anthony Gill who played four seasons overseas. Gill is a 28-year-old power forward who averaged 8.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game last season.

NBA: Former Warriors Will Return To The Court

Former Golden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant is expected to make his return to the court next week. He will be working out with Kyrie Irving for the first time as a Brooklyn Nets player. Durant missed last season due to his Achilles injury. His new partner, Kyrie, only played 20 games last season before suffering from a right shoulder injury. With the two superstars finally returning to the game, fans expect that the Nets will be a contender in the playoffs.

The NBA 2020-21 season will begin on Tuesday, December 22.
