Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is one of the most popular first-person shooter games today. However, since day one, Weapon XP has been a huge problem for most players. Apparently, the game only gives a very small amount of XP after a number of matches. Due to this, players are having a hard time leveling up their guns to obtain new attachments.
Fortunately, the game’s developer Treyarch is bringing huge improvements to the Weapon XP system of the game. Aside from that, the update will also fix several bugs that players have been encountering.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Update Brings Increased Weapon XP Earn Rates
According to Treyarch, the latest update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will permanently increase the XP rate earned from both Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Due to this, players will be able to grind more guns efficiently. Before the update, players are comparing the XP system of the game to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. They found out that Modern Warfare gives more XP than Black Ops Cold War.
Because of this, players started complaining online. One fan said, “Please, for the love of god, increase weapon XP.” A Black Ops Cold War player also reached 1000 kills with the Pellington 703 but still failed to unlock all of its attachments.
Latest Update Brings Zombies Mode Bug Fixes
The Zombies mode of Black Ops Cold War is one of the most popular game modes in the game. Unfortunately, players are experiencing progression issues in the game mode. One of which is the XP earned in the later rounds, which is supposedly high.
Aside from that, players also encountered an issue where the Napalm Burst Ammo Mod wasn’t giving the bonus XP when equipped. With the latest patch released by Treyarch, players will no longer encounter these issues.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Update Removes Glitch Area In Nuketown ‘84
Black Ops Cold War players recently discovered a glitched area in the Nuketown ’84 map. Apparently, players can enter an out-of-bounds area that wasn’t supposed to be a playable space. This gives them the chance to camp in the glitched area, keeping them alive for the entire game. The exploit has been used by many players since its discovery. It has become a plague that keeps frustrating some players. Due to this, Treyarch decided to block the gap that allowed players to enter the out-of-bounds area.
