A lot of NBA teams have already made blockbuster deals during this week’s 2020 NBA free agency. One example is the big move by the defending champions, Los Angeles Lakers. Apparently, the Lakers signed this year’s Sixth Man of the Year, Montrezl Harrell. With the Lakers adding another great talent to their star-studded roster, other NBA teams are now looking to build a superteam to defeat the champions. One of which is the Dallas Mavericks, which are currently looking forward to obtaining a superstar from the Toronto Raptors.
NBA: Dallas Mavericks Might Give Luka Doncic His New Partner
There are rumors suggesting that the Dallas Mavericks might trade for Kyle Lowry from the Toronto Raptors. There are several players that the Mavericks can offer to the Raptors, such as J.J Barea and Tim Hardaway Jr. Aside from that, the Mavericks will also have the chance to obtain Lowry by signing him on the next free agency. Lowry has one year left in his contract before he becomes a free agent. Teams are now eying to sign Lowry in the future. However, his best choice would be the Mavericks.
Mavericks Can Win It All With Potential Big Three
The Dallas Mavericks are currently led by the dynamic duo, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luka Doncic. Luka and Kristaps are some of the greatest young talents in the league today. NBA analysts believe that the two will improve even better next season, especially when teamed up with a veteran leader like Kyle Lowry. Apparently, Lowry is one of the key players who led the Toronto Raptors to their first NBA Championship in 2019. He’s a veteran point guard who can rotate the ball well. Lowry’s possible arrival in the Mavericks will create the big three. It’s no secret that Doncic fought hard during the 2020 NBA Playoffs. Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of players who can help him score. Due to this, the Mavericks will most likely try to obtain another superstar that can help facilitate the ball.
NBA: Dallas Mavericks Obtained James Johnson From A Three-Team Trade
The Dallas Mavericks recently announced that they obtained James Johnson from a three-team trade. Trevor Ariza and Justin Jackson will be heading to Oklahoma City Thunder, while James Johnson heads to the Mavericks, and Delon Wright goes to Detroit Pistons. Johnson is a great addition to the Mavericks. He’s an 11-year veteran who has a career average of 8.0 points per game along with 3.6 rebounds per game. He may not be an elite scorer but his defensive mindset will be a great addition to the Mavericks.
