90 Day Fiance stars Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters were part of season 3’s reality show couples. The two got married and welcomed their first daughter in 2017. They may not be on the TLC franchise anymore but they are still a fan favorite. Fortunately, the two have their social media accounts where they post updates on their daily lives for fans. Here are some of the latest updates on Melanie and Devar.
90 Day Fiance: Melanie And Devar Started Off Rocky
90 Day Fiance stars Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters did not have a smooth start back in their 90 Day Fiance days. The two had a few problems such as Melanie’s sister Bev, having trust issues with Devar. During one of their episodes, Melanie told her sister that she spent over $38,000 on Devar. This includes his flights, hotels, and their wedding as well. Bev brought her concern all the way to a famous talk show where she claims that Devar was trying to scam Melanie. However, Melanie defended Devar and admitted that it was her choice to send money to Devar while he’s unemployed back in Jamaica.
Despite Bev’s allegations, Melanie and Devar still got married and are staying strong up until this point. It seems Bev sees Devar as a good father and a loyal husband to sister Melanie after all of these years.
The two celebrated their wedding anniversary back in September. There were rumors back in 2019 that the couple split. However, Melanie and Devar have yet to confirm if that really happened.
Where Are They Now?
90 Day Fiance stars Melanie Bowers and Devar Walters have been sharing pictures of them and their daughter, Avah Walters. The married couple love doing water activities especially kayaking. Devar previously shared a video of his daughter, which he often calls “Boss”, enjoying her time while in a kayak being driven by her dad. It’s no secret that Devar worked as a lifeguard back in Jamaica, which could be the main reason for his love for water activities. Fortunately, he got a job that’s connected to his passion. Devar is currently working as a commercial diver. He does underwater constructions and many more underwater related tasks.
Melanie and Devar are currently living in a place where it’s cold. Due to this, they previously went on a vacation in The Hammocks, Florida to enjoy sunny weather.
90 Day Fiance: Devar Hints At Having Another Baby With Melanie
In an Instagram post, 90 Day Fiance star Devar Walters was asked about his plans to have another baby. He told the fan “soon”, seemingly confirming that baby number two is on its way. Meanwhile, there’s not a lot of updates when it comes to Melanie’s son on her ex-husband.
However, there are speculations saying that Melanie shares custody with her ex. Melanie’s son, Hunter, can only be seen mostly on weekends during their show. Melanie has yet to confirm if that was really the case.
