‘RHOC’ Fans Reject Teddi Mellencamp Joining The Franchise
Teddi Mellencamp spent three seasons on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and is still close with some of the cast. Yet, one of her best friends is RHOC star Tamra Judge. They have a successful podcast together, and Tamra has been by her side during her cancer journey. However, Orange County fans are rejecting the idea of Teddi joining the franchise- but why? Teddi Mellencamp Doesn’t Feel Connected To Beverly Hills
When Teddi Mellencamp was on RHOBH, she noted how hard it was to keep up with the glitz and the glamour. She even discussed with her co-stars how different she was from many other women around her. The daughter of John Mellencamp came to California broke with a dream and was able to build herself up and create a successful business. After three seasons on Beverly Hills, she left, but she created strong friendships. She was fortunate enough to make friendships in other franchises, especially with RHOC star Tamra Judge.
Although Teddi has clashed with Vicki Gunvalson, it seems that the two have reconciled. Teddi has made appearances on both BH and OC, but she feels more connected to the latter. She stated that it is far more laid-back and not so done up, which she appreciated. When viewers learned that there was a possibility Teddi could franchise hop, they were livid. They immediately rejected the idea and shared their disdain:
- Good gawd no. Just no.
- No! No to Beverly Hills, OC, Salt Lake City, Potomac, New York, Atlanta and Miami. Teddy is welcome to join Jersey or Rhode Island. Good luck! 😁
- Please, Andy, no. I’m begging you. She’s so unwatchable it makes me turn off the entire episode.
- I heard RHOC sucked this season, so this would be the perfect time for Teddi to join and put the final nail in the coffin.
An Easy Solution
One RHOC fan came up with a solution regarding Teddi Mellencamp and how Bravo could give her a platform. They suggested she do a Watch What Happens Live special about her cancer journey and how she overcame it. That way, Teddi fans can have their fill, but she would not be a full-time cast member.
