The Bates Sisters Boutique was initially owned by Carlin, Whitney, and Erin Bates. However, Erin left the company in November 2021, explaining that she was going to focus more on her family and ministry.
But there are speculations that Erin didn’t like where the trajectory of the business was going. They started selling more revealing clothes, far from Erin’s advocacy of wearing conservative clothing. Carlin and Whitney are currently managing the business. But some Bringing Up Bates fans think the company may reach its end soon.

Some Bringing Up Bates fans on social media discussed why Carlin and Whitney Bates’ business may close soon. According to the poster, the USA’s current tariffs and attempts to block shipping from China may affect the Bates Sisters Boutique. Many people believe that most of Carlin and Whitney’s products are manufactured and shipped from China. The OP added that their sales may go downhill, especially with how expensive many of their items are.

But aside from her pregnancy, the Bringing Up Bates star has been traveling with her family over the past few months. Last December, Carlin surprised her followers with her trip to Dubai with Evan. They later went on a Disney Cruise trip, where Layla celebrated her birthday.
Meanwhile, Whitney Bates continues to endorse the Bates Sisters Boutique online. She recently had a Q&A vlog with her husband, Zach, in which she admitted why she was initially overwhelmed by how huge the Bates family was. Whitney also said that they’re looking forward to many travels this year.
