On January 18, 2022, UpTV announced that they’re parting ways with the Bates family after ten seasons. According to the network, they’re shifting their focus to new movies and other scripted shows for 2022. Gil and Kelly Jo Bates had already filmed episodes for Bringing Up Bates Season 11. Unfortunately, they didn’t get released following the show’s cancellation. However, Kelly Jo’s latest post may hint at a possible TV comeback for the family.
Kelly Jo Bringing Family Back To Reality Show?
Some Redditors discussed the possibility that Gil and Kelly Jo are planning to get their family back on reality TV. The speculation comes after Kelly Jo Bates made a series of IG posts expressing her gratitude for the people they worked with during the reality show. She even gushed over the show’s creative director, Garrett, for the love he showed them.

The Bringing Up Bates star even said that Garrett often attends major occasions in the family, such as weddings and baby showers. But several Reddit users were skeptical about Kelly Jo’s posts. According to some, she may be setting up a possible project with Garret, who left UpTV a year ago.
