Zach and Whitney have been getting a lot of support due to their career transitions. Zach previously launched a YouTube cooking channel called Bates Kitchen and has already released four episodes. Kelly Jo even appeared in the latest episode to make a chicken salad recipe with her son. Meanwhile, Whitney recently celebrated the fifth birthday of the Bates Sisters Boutique. Fans Relate To Whitney’s Classic Fashion
Some Bringing Up Bates fans on Reddit discussed Whitney Bates’s recent post about the sandals she ordered from Amazon. According to the poster, it was one of the most popular shoes in 2013, to the point that almost everyone in Australia was wearing it. Others agreed about how nostalgic the sandals were. Some even said that they were once worn by the Spice Girls.
- “I literally jumped when I saw these on Whitneys story Omg!! When I was 12 in 2013 these shoes took over Australia everyone was wearing them! (Mine were my prised possession lol) were they a thing in the US too? Crazy to see them back. I attached a very 2013/14 outfit.”
- “Delia’s catalogue, baby!!”
- “Spice girl shoes!”
- “Oh I remember them too. I lived in Brazil in the 90s/early 2000s and they were all the rage there too. The brand down there is called Melissa.”
- “I had these in high school in the late 90s. Memory unlocked!”
Bringing Up Bates: Whitney Bates Shares Another Nostalgic Item
This wasn’t the first time Whitney surprised fans with a nostalgic item. Earlier this month, the Bringing Up Bates star uploaded a photo of her old CD player that her kids found at her mother’s house. She even shared that her kids had no idea what it was. Due to this, she’s urged to buy a compatible headphone so she can let her kids experience it.
- “Whitney’s CD story I didn’t peg her as a BSB girlie growing up. You know she isn’t bopping just Jesus music in that big ol SUV.”
- “I loved seeing this so much.”
- “Passing around binders of cds on the bus and sharing earbuds during a school trip are the simple yet formative experiences homeschool kids like hers are missing out on.”
