The search for the missing OceanGate Titanic “Titan” submarine may be over as it appears as if the US Coast Guard may have found it. Now, the US Coast Guard has yet to confirm without question the missing submarine has been found. But, the humanitarian and security service did take to Twitter about 15 minutes ago to reveal they found something on the ocean floor. Something within the search area that they believed the submarine should have been. And, something that many believe could actually be the submarine. Keep reading for more details.
Missing OceanGate Titanic Submarine Found By US Coast Guard?
Per the U.S. Coast Guard, an ROV associated with the Canadian vessel Horizon Arctic scouring the search field for the missing OceanGate Titanic submarine came across a debris field. Here’s what the tweet with the updated information said:
A debris field was discovered within the search area by an ROV near the Titanic. Experts within the unified command are evaluating the information.
In a secondary tweet, the US Coast Guard clarified they would be hosting a press conference today at 3 P.M. EST to discuss an official update on where they are with the search and if the debris field means they’ve found the missing submarine (or what is left of it).

Where Are The Bodies?
The biggest question people following this story have if the missing submarine did implode is simple: What happened to the five passengers? Where are they? Would they have imploded with the submarine? Moreover, many are wondering if the submarine imploded when communication was lost about two hours into the dive. Many who are commenting on the story on social media admit they are almost hoping for the implosion over knowing the passengers slowly suffocated somewhere at the bottom of the ocean.
Breaking: A debris field has just been found near the wreckage of the Titanic, according to the US Coast Guard.

While no one has really clarified exactly what happened. Many are in agreement the wind would have been instantly knocked out of the passengers and they would have either passed away from the implosion or drowned. Unfortunately, it is also being reported that recovering the bodies of the passengers is unlikely if the debris field is all that is left of the missing submarine. Tragically, the passengers’ bodies would have likely been devoured by the various creatures living in the ocean.
