Several upcoming horror films will be released on VOD across several streaming platforms in March. Whether it’s on Sudder, Netflix, Hulu or VOD, scary movies just keep on coming. Two Shudder originals will be dropping next week, including ‘The Seed.’ Here is a list of five horror films that fans of the genre might want to take a look at over the two weeks.

Upcoming Horror:
The Seed- March 10 (Shudder)
Synopsis:
“What starts out as girls’ weekend away in the Mojave desert becomes a tale of horror. The trip descends into a battle for survival with the arrival of an invasive alien force that threatens to consume them.”
‘The Seed’ is the feature film directorial debut of Sam Walker. It will premiere on the streaming service Shudder, and is described as a “black comedy creature feature.”
The Exorcism of God- March 10 (VOD)
Synopsis:
Father Peter Williams ends up committing the most terrible sacrilege during an exorcism. Eighteen years later, the consequences of his sin come back to haunt him.
‘The Exorcism of God’ is the latest entry into a subgenre that is attempting to do something a bit different. Alejandro Hidalgo directs the project, previously releasing “The House at the End of Time.”
Offseason- March 11 (VOD)
Synopsis:
“After receiving a mysterious letter that her mother’s gravesite has been vandalized, Marie quickly returns to the isolated offshore island.”
Described as a “chilling nightmare that will haunt viewers with its uncanny terror and a bone-deep sense of dread.”
Folklore and Survival
Sin Eater- March 15(VOD)
Synopsis:
“After suffering a terrifying injury, a young woman finds herself stranded in a remote town harboring a dark secret. As she tries to recuperate, she slowly begins to discover intense, bizarre religious phenomena occurring around her.”
‘Sin Eater’ is based on folklore and claims that those who consume meat during a ritual will take on the spirit of a deceased person. The film will be the directorial debut of Carmelo Chimera.
The Bunker Game- March 15 (Shudder)
Synopsis:
“Laura is an actress in a LARP game. She participants play the survivors of an atomic war who live in a sealed bunker. They find themselves trapped inside and in peril, therefore, they begin to die in mysterious ways.”
The horror streaming service Shudder continues to give fans a variety of content. In ‘The Bunker Game,’ horror junkies find themselves mixed up in the world of survival horror, above all. It’ll be the directorial debut of Roberto Zazzara.
