About the royal couple
The royal couple became engaged in September 2019 while on a weekend visit to Italy. The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony at Windsor Chapel in July 2020. They had initially planned to get married at the Chapel Royal in St. James Palace with a reception at the Queen’s Gardens in Buckingham Palace. However, the wedding had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He wrote that he couldn’t believe it had been one year. Edoardo wrote that every second of every day has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. He wrote that Beatrice is the “kindest, loveliest and most beautiful person in the world.”
