Good News For Prince Harry Following Memoir Announcement

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now living in Santa Barbara, California. When they first stepped back from royal duties, they planned to split their time between the US and the UK. Obviously, the COVID-19 pandemic has made travel difficult for everyone and Harry has only returned to the UK twice recently. In April, he attended his grandfather, Prince Philip’s funeral. Meanwhile, in July, he visited London to unveil a statue of his late mother, Princess Diana. However, a major expansion in his employer’s business will make it possible for him to return to London more often.

Prince Harry’s employer opens two new offices

Prince Harry started his new role in March. His first job after leaving The Firm is as a chief impact officer in the professional coaching and mental health firm, BetterUp. It seems the California-based company is expanding, as it opens up an office in Munich, Germany, and another in London, UK.

BetterUp has already hired 75 staff members for its UK office. It further has plans to add 150 staff to the Munich office over the next year. However, it is the London office that is making things look up for Prince Harry right now, as he could potentially have a number of business trips on the cards.

The Times quotes Chief Executive Officer Alexi Robichaux talking of Prince Harry and the UK expansion. He said the Duke, who is currently on paternity leave following Lilibet’s birth, “provided some helpful insights and tips.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Since stepping back from their senior royal duties and moving to America, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been carving out new lives. The pair have established their non-profit organization, Archewell, in relation to charitable concerns. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also landed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify. Meghan went on to publish a children’s book, The Bench in June this year.

Both parties have been in a number of bombshell interviews since moving to the US, including the explosive chat with Oprah Winfrey. Meanwhile, Harry has spoken in his documentary on mental health, The Me You Don’t See, as well as various podcasts. Each interview reveals shocking and upsetting details about the British Royal Family, upsetting Queen Elizabeth to the core.

How welcome will the Duke be in London?

While Prince Harry might be planning trips to London as part of his work with BetterUp, it is unclear how welcome he might be. Just last week, the Duke revealed he is writing a memoir about his life as a member of the Royal Family. The book will cover his time with The Firm, as well as his military career right up to becoming a husband and father.

Meanwhile, the memoir, written in collaboration with ghostwriter J.R. Moehringer, is set to release in late 2022. All proceeds from the memoir will be going to charity. The Royal Family’s reaction to the content of that book is, of course, yet to be seen.
