Princess Eugenie Celebrates Jack’s Birthday With New Photos Of August

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank celebrated the birth of their son, August Philip Hawke, in February. On Monday, Eugenie celebrated Jack Brooksbank’s 34th birthday by sharing new images of their son on her Instagram account.

Monday was Jack Brooksbank’s 34th birthday and his wife, Princess Eugenie, took to Instagram to share three new images of their son, August Philip Hawke. This is Eugenie’s husband’s first birthday as a father and he is obviously thrilled.

Two of the images show Jack cuddling their son, August, who was born on February 9. The first image sees Jack looking at the camera while showing off August’s personalized sweater. August had previously worn the sweater in another Instagram post by Eugenie. Another image shows Brooksbank carrying August in a baby carrier, bundled up against the cool weather.

The final image shows Jack walking alongside a lake, with daffodils and other flowers in bloom all around for spring. Eugenie, 31, captioned the new images with the words, “You are exceptional,” adding, “Happy Birthday my love.”

Princess Eugenie has shared a number of photos of baby August, including one to celebrate her own first UK Mother’s Day. She also shared images on her own birthday and other family events over the past few months.

In Princess Eugenie and husband, Jack Brooksbank’s first public appearance since becoming parents they attended Prince Philip’s funeral on April 17. They attended with Eugenie’s older sister, Princess Beatrice, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and other members of the Royal Family. They were among the few guests able to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The family joined together to say goodbye to Queen Elizabeth’s husband of 73 years who died at the age of 99.

The royal fan-favorite Princess, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, shared a touching tribute to Prince Philip. Addressing him as “Dearest Grandpa,” she wrote that they all miss him. Eugenie wrote that Philip would be “so touched” by all the tributes that have been shared with her in the past few days.

Eugenie said people recall sitting next to the Queen’s consort at a dinner, or shaking his hand once. She wrote that people remember him saying hello in passing, or remember how much their DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) award meant to them.

On a personal note, the Princess recalled learning how to cook, paint and read from her Grandpa. She remembers laughing at his jokes and asking about his spectacular life and service in the navy.

Humorous moments with Prince Philip

Eugenie recalled funny moments with Prince Philip, including the time she was “incinerating the sausages” and her Grandpa swooped in to save the day. She also remembers his hands, his laugh and his favorite beer. Eugenie wrote that she will remember the Duke in his children, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She thanked him for his dedication and love to them all, especially Granny, who they will look after for him.

Prior to Prince Philip’s death, Princess Eugenie honored him by giving her son his middle name. In an Instagram Story, she wrote that on her grandfather’s birthday weekend, they were thinking of him, while introducing their little boy. She added, “He is named after his great grandfather and both of his great x5 grandfathers.”

We wish Jack Brooksbank a very happy 34th birthday, with love to the whole family.
