Counting On star Jinger Duggar opened up about the molestation scandal of her brother Josh Duggar. The revelation also comes after Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo’s book promotion, where they promise their fans that it will feature the good and bad things in their lives. Jinger also insisted that the shocking news about Josh also brought her family much closer. She also shared that their friends played a huge role in helping them overcome their struggles.
Counting On: Jinger Duggar Opened Up About Josh’s Scandal
During an interview, Counting On star Jinger Duggar opened up about the molestation scandal of her brother Josh Duggar. Apparently, Josh’s scandal is one of the biggest and most controversial news about the family. However, Jinger insisted that there’s still some positive outcome in her brother’s controversy. “Our family was way closer because of that, and in spite of that, I guess you’d say. I will never forget how I felt in that moment,” Jinger said.
She also said that it was more difficult for them as they’re in the public eye. “It makes it more challenging because then it’s not just dealing with these things inwardly, but you have to give an answer to the world,” she added. Meanwhile, some of Jinger’s siblings started teaching their kids about intimacy. One of which is Jill Duggar, who said that teaching the kids about intimacy will help them become aware of improper behavior.
Jinger Says That The Controversial Season Was Rough
Counting On star Jinger Duggar also said that the season where the scandal of her brother Josh Duggar surfaced really left a mark. “Walking through that season, it was one of the hardest times of our lives,” Jinger said. However, Jinger said that their friends helped them overcome the controversy. According to her, many of their friends reached out to them and try to make them forget their struggles. “In those times I thought, ‘Man, that really meant the most'” she added.
Counting On: What Has Josh Been Up To?
Counting On star Josh Duggar has been away from the cameras for quite some time. He also appears to avoid social media and family gatherings. However, his wife, Anna Duggar, shocked the fans after her return to reality show after six years of absence. There are also reports stating that Anna is currently pregnant with her seventh child. At this point, Anna has yet to confirm if she’s indeed pregnant. However, eagle-eyed fans have been seeing her with a baby bump.
At one point, a lot of fans noticed Anna’s baby bump in Jessa Duggar’s now-deleted video post. Anna also appears to hide her half-body a lot in her recent images with her in-laws. Meanwhile, reports claim that Josh has been struggling on finding a job due to this molestation scandal. It’s also reported that he’s still living in a warehouse owned by Jim Bob Duggar and only goes out when he needs to drive his family.
