Fergie had texted Piers, writing, “People have said how much they miss your morning joy and humour.” The Duchess of York urged Morgan to “get back out there!” Morgan joked that he could team up with Fergie to host a new morning show, writing, “Perhaps we should start a new breakfast show together… ‘Morgy and Fergie in the Morning’, anyone?”

Messages of support from the royal family after Meghan Markle row

In an interview with Billy Bush on Extra TV, Morgan made the revelation that he had support from inside the royal family. He told Bush, “I’ve had some messages communicated to me on behalf of several members of the royal family.”

Morgan also criticized Harry and Meghan for refusing to name the royal they allege had made racist comments on their son, Archie’s skin color. He told Tucker Carlson on Fox Nation, that as a British taxpayer, he helps pay for the royal family. Morgan said he would truly like to know if there is a real racist inside the palace. Following the interview, fans insisted he should follow his own advice and name the royals who have reached out to support him.

One wrote on Twitter, “Piers was LIVID that Meghan didn’t name names. On principal [sic] alone, he should name names otherwise he’s done the exact same thing and is a massive hypocrite.”

As noted by the Mirror, another wrote, “Um, Piers then name names yourself, lead by example, which members of the Royal Family praised you for trashing Meghan ?! #PiersMorgan.”

Morgan obviously listened and has revealed that Sarah Ferguson is one of the royals concerned. It is currently unknown if he will open up to reveal which other member of the royal family stood up for him after the scandal.
