Brooklyn Nets star James Harden just suffered an unfortunate injury ahead of the NBA Playoffs. Apparently, Harden just returned after missing two games. However, his return resulted in a much worse situation for the team. The Nets are currently looking forward to competing for the championship this year. The team has been signing multiple superstars recently. However, not a lot of fans like the recent moves of the Nets, especially after signing LaMarcus Aldridge, which gives the team five superstars in their roster.
NBA: James Harden Suffers Hamstring Strain
Brooklyn Nets star James Harden is leaving the game again after playing for only two games. Apparently, the Nets revealed that Harden was diagnosed with a right hamstring strain after his recent MRI. According to the team, Harden will be re-evaluated for at least 10 days, which makes him unavailable for the future games of the team. Harden only played 4 minutes in the last game against the New York Knicks. After that, he never returned to the floor after aggravating his previous injury. During the game, Hardan can be seen walking towards Nets’ head coach Steve Nash to call for a timeout as he felt something wrong with his left hamstring. The Nets defeated the Knicks with a score of 114-112. Kyrie Irving also carried the team with a score of 40 points in 37 minutes of playing.
Steve Nash Says Their Frustrated With James Harden’s Injury
Brooklyn Nets head coach Steve Nash opened up about James Harden’s right hamstring strain. During an interview, Nash said that the results from Harden’s tests were fine and there’s nothing to worry about. However, he said that they don’t want to take risk of putting Harden back on the floor if he still feels something wrong with his body. “But he’s feeling something, and we believe that. It’s frustrating,” Nash added. After that, Nash said that the team is hoping that Harden’s injury will only be a “short-term thing.” Apparently, Harden is one of the best offensive players in the league today. Due to this, the Nets want to make sure that their superstar will be able to play in the playoffs.
NBA: Kevin Durant Will Return Soon
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is set to return after a long absence due to a left hamstring strain. According to reports, Durant is now “probable” of playing with Kyrie Irving on their upcoming game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Unfortunately, Durant won’t be able to play with James Harden yet again as Harden will have to miss 10 days. Apparently, fans have yet to see the five superstars of the Nets playing together. They’ve been suffering from back-to-back injuries. However, they’re still considered as one of the most dangerous teams in the league, especially with Kyrie Irving’s recent MVP performances.
The Brooklyn Nets will face the New Orleans Pelicans on April 8, 2021.
