Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been worrying the fans after his scary injury against the Houston Rockets. Apparently, Curry suffered a tailbone injury after falling hard to the baseline. Curry landed his tailbone badly, causing him to struggle on getting back up. Curry later left the game to check himself. A few days have passed, fans are still worried about Curry. However, fans will most likely not see Curry for a few more days as Steve Kerr want’s to keep him healthy as much as possible before the NBA playoffs.
NBA: Curry Might Miss More Games Than Expected
According to Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, they decided to keep Stephen Curry out for the next games to make sure he’s fine. He also said that it would be irresponsible for them to put Curry on the floor right away. “It’s not even a question of temptation to put him out there. It’s just we’re going to do what’s right medically. When he’s ready, he’s ready”, Kerr added. Curry now joins Klay Thompson on the bench throughout the next few games. However, Curry is not the only one joining Thompson. Apparently, the Warriors also had to sit Kelly Oubre Jr. for a while due to his sore foot.
The Warriors Lacking A Lot Of Players
The Golden State Warriors will be looking like a totally different team over the next few games. Apparently, most of their starters will have to sit out for a while. Stephen Curry and Kelly Oubre Jr. won’t play due to their injuries. Meanwhile, James Wiseman and Eric Paschall will be out as well due to Covid-19 protocols. Wiseman and Paschall have been playing big roles with the Warriors recently. The two big men have been a huge help for Draymond Green and Stephen Curry, especially on the defensive end. Due to this, fans can expect more struggles to the team in their upcoming games.
NBA: The Warriors Can Still Make A Powerhouse Team Ahead Of The Playoffs
Fans Think that the Golden State Warriors can still push through the playoffs as long as they make some adjustments on their roster. Apparently, fans have been asking the Warriors to trade Kelly Oubre Jr. for other players who can score more efficiently. Oubre struggled a lot earlier in the season, especially from the 3-point line. Due to this, fans think that he won’t be a good fit for the Warriors as the team mainly focus on shooting threes.
NBA analysts think that trading Oubre for JJ Redick from the New Orleans Pelicans would be a great option. Apparently, Redick is one of the best 3-point shooters in the league today, which is a perfect match for the Warriors’ offensive mindset Meanwhile, some fans think that Aaron Gordon will be a great addition to the Warriors. He’s a solid all-around player with insane dunking ability, which the Warriors currently lack. However, the Warriors might need to trade Andrew Wiggins, who’s also a consistent scorer.
The Golden State Warriors will face the Philadelphia 76ers on March 24, 2021.
