In the aftermath of last week’s IMPACT Wrestling PPV Hard to Kill, it was only a matter of time before the road ahead was paved. Leader of Violent by Design Eric Young took on Rhino, Knockouts tag action took place and a few surprises arrived on IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT WRESTLING: A Callis promise
Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers (Gallows and Anderson) kick off IMPACT Wrestling in a pre-taped segment from after the PPV. Don Callis pumped up Omega and the Good Brothers before making a promise. Callis announced that they would be taking some time away from IMPACT to focus on business in AEW but would return soon.

A Crushing Start
Eric Young defeated Rhino
Rhino was able to take quick advantage after a failed charge by Eric Young. Despite Rhino looking good early, Young hit a low blow behind the referee’s back to take the advantage. After wearing down the big man, Young was able to make Rhino tap out with an ankle lock. After the match, Violent by Design beat down Rhino before crushing his ankle on a steel chair. *1/2

D-Lo Brown and Matt Striker welcomed the fans to IMPACT Wrestling before showing an interview from after Hard to Kill. During the interview segment, Moose attacked Rich Swann for taking the fall at the PPV. Swann responds in present time, and offers Moose a shot at his title in the future.
Ace Romero and John E. Bravo confront Tommy Dreamer in the locker room with a curious theory. Romero claimed that his tag partner Larry D was set up as a fall guy in recent weeks. Romeros’ theory is that someone sprayed ring rust on Larry, causing him to turn into Lawrence D, the murderer. Dreamer looked intrigued as the confusing segment quickly ended.
IMPACT Wrestling: The Invasion
The Good Brothers came to the ring to gloat about their win at Hard to Hell. They promised that they would continue to control IMPACT Wrestling, causing Chris Sabin to arrive. Sabin said that he and his tag partner, Alex Shelly, should be the rightful champions. With Shelly out of action, Sabin brought out IMPACT Wrestling legend James Storm to confront The Good Brothers.

While James Storm was in the face of The Good Brothers, Matt Hardy returned to IMPACT with AEW’s Private Party. Hardy gave a rundown of his own accomplishments before a match was then made between Storm and Sabin against Private Party.
In the back, Matt Cardona (aka Zack Ryder) announced his official addition to the IMPACT Wrestling roster.
Members of the IMPACT Wrestling roster found a way to converge in the next backstage segment. Knockout Tag Champions Fire and Flava ran into Johnny Swinger as well as Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K, as they gloated about winning the at the PPV. Fallah Bah then came into focus as he confronted Brian Myers before a match was made between the two.
IMPACT Wrestling: Back to the Ring
Kimber Lee and Susan defeated Jazz and Jordynne Grace

Mystery Solved
In the back, Taya Valkyrieis forced to confess to setting up Larry D after evidence was presented by John E. Brave, Ace Romero, and Tommy Dreamer. A Challenge Accepted
IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Rich Swann made his way to the ring to call out TNA Champion Moose. As expected, Moose made his way to confront Swann, writing off his words with arrogance. Swann responded by attacking Moose and hitting him with a Phoenix Splash.
Back to the locker room area as Rohit Raju demands IMPACT Wrestling official Scott D’Amore to give him an X-Divison Title match. Due to TJP also competing under a mask as Manik, Raju argued that he continues to be undermined in the X-Divison. D’Amore made a match between the two but failed to tell Raju that it would be non-title.
Fire and Flava were then shown in the back as they continued their celebration for winning the Knockout Tag Titles. Havok and Neveah crash the celebration, teasing a match between the two teams.
IMPACT Ring Action
Brian Myers defeated Fallah Bah
Brian Meyers, the former Curt Hawkins in the WWE, had a hard task ahead of him. Fallah Bah quickly used his 400 pounds to his favor, dropping a big leg for a 2 count. A big crossbody and a belly-to-belly by Bah but Myers was able to kick out and gain momentum. After fighting off another flurry from Bah, Myers kicked low and then got the win after a lariat. **1/4
