NBA: Stephen Curry Scores 62 Points Against Trail Blazers

The Golden State Warriors have been struggling early in the season. However, the team is now slowly getting back on track. Warriors’ power forward Draymond Green is finally back on the floor. However, he struggled in offense in his first game and said that he still needs more conditioning. Meanwhile, Stephen Curry went on fire in their rematch against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors previously lost to the Trail Blazers with a score of 123-98. Now, the Warriors flipped the table as they defeated the Trail Blazers on their rematch with a score of 137-122.

NBA: Stephen Curry Scores Career-High 62 Points

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry went MVP mode in their rematch against the Portland Trail Blazers. Curry managed to score a career-high 62 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The Trail Blazers can’t seem to find a way to stop Curry from hitting 3-pointers. Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard previously said that Curry is “mortal” and the Warriors can be easily defeated just by locking down Curry. It appears that Lillard’s statement triggered Curry’s explosive offense as he singlehandedly carried his team to a win in their rematch. Draymond Green also helped the Warriors with his playmaking skills with 8 assists.

Warriors Rely On Curry Again

The Golden State Warriors have been struggling in the offense. The team heavily relied on Curry’s shooting streak during their rematch against the Portland Trail Blazers. A lot of fans reacted to Curry’s unbelievable game including NBA players. In a social media post, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell said, “Man y’all was talkin crazy bout Steph.” NBA Legend Magic Johnson also said, “A career-high 62 points for Steph Curry! STILL proving he’s the greatest shooter we’ve ever seen and an MVP candidate along with LeBron, AD, KD, Kyrie, Luka Doncic, Kawhi, and Giannis!”

Meanwhile, fans are still worried about how the Warriors rely on Curry’s offense. Fans have been asking the Warriors to trade Kelly Oubre, who’s been struggling in his shooting early in the season. However, some fans believe that the Warriors will get back on track once Klay Thompson returns.

NBA: Curry Believes They’ll Get Better

During an interview, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry shared his thoughts about the team’s early struggles. According to him, “Every game we’re going to get better.” It’s no secret that teams have been targeting Curry as he’s currently the most consistent scorers on the team. Due to this, Curry is hoping that his teammates will improve throughout the season. With Draymond Green back in the game, fans can expect that the team will improve their ball movement instead of relying on one player.
