The Golden State Warriors continue to struggle despite Draymond Green’s return. Apparently, Green only played for 18 minutes. He wasn’t able to score any points. However, he managed to put up 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Green is considered one of the best playmakers in the league today. He’s a pass-first power forward who can also play in the center position. Green also won the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year Award. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to stop Damiam Lillard’s offense. Lillard scored 34 points, 4 rebounds, and 8 assists as they defeated the Warriors with a score of 123-98. Despite losing, Stephen Curry still puts on a good performance with 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

During an interview, Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green revealed that he’s still struggling with his conditioning. According to him, “My conditioning just kind of sucks from being off the court for the better part of a month.” He also said that he’s not happy after he was taken out during the third quarter against the Portland Trail Blazers. Meanwhile, Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr revealed that Green still needs more conditioning. According to Kerr, “He looked like a guy who missed training camp and has been working his way to get onto the floor.” He also said, “He got a really tough break coming into the season with the COVID protocols, and so it’s going to take him some time.” Despite struggling, Kerr said that he’s still happy that his players are slowly returning to perfect health.
NBA: Damian Lillard Reacts To Teams Locking Down Stephen Curry
Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard opened up about teams locking down Stephen Curry. During an interview, Lillard said, “I think right now, with the injuries that the Warriors have been dealing with and Steph playing with a younger team right now, he’s seeing that it’s tough to get that quality looks right now.” The Warriors started their season with season-ending injuries and struggling players. Due to this, the team mostly rely on Curry’s offense. However, it resulted in teams locking down Curry, leading to a bad start early in the season. Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr also agreed with Lillard’s thoughts on Curry. According to Kerr, he will need to do a better job in putting Curry in better positions.
The Golden State Warriors will face the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow at 9:30 AM.
