Four-time NBA champion LeBron James reached another milestone in their game against the San Antonio Spurs. James managed to extend his 10-point game streak to 1,000, making him the only player in the NBA to do so. During the second quarter, James hits a baby hook shot to reach the milestone, which may be difficult to match. The last time James wasn’t able to score a 10-point game was way back on January 5, 2007. He also had 8 single-digit scores during his rookie year in the NBA.

The Los Angeles Lakers send a strong message to the league after they defeated the San Antonio Spurs with a score of 121-107. LeBron James carried his team with a score of 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. His backcourt partner Anthony Davis also helped with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Lakers made a lot of turnovers during the game. However, it didn’t stop them from scoring relentlessly. Lakers’ point guard Dennis Schroder also showed good performance with 21 points in 34 minutes of playing. Meanwhile, Spurs’ Dejounte Murray managed to score 29 points. Unfortunately, a lot of his teammates struggled on offense and had a hard time defending James and Davis.
NBA: Shaquille O’Neal Believes LeBron James Can Pass Michael Jordan
NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal revealed that LeBron James can pass Michael Jordan by winning 2 more championships. According to him, “He already passed Kobe and Jordan in points. He’s gonna be creeping on Kareem too. I think he’s looking to pass Kareem.” O’Neal also said, “I think LeBron is looking to tie Kobe and tie Jordan with championships.” James is now 36-years old. However, he’s not showing signs of leaving the league anytime soon. He’s still one of the most dominating players in the league and most fans believe that he can still pull off a couple of championships. James currently has a two-year $85 million contract with the Lakers. If he managed to win a championship in both years, he will tie Jordan in championships, which might put an end to the James-Jordan debates.
The Los Angeles Lakers will face the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
