Garcelle Beauvais joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and quickly grabbed the title of “Queen” from devoted fans. Mind you, a lot of fans mistrust her sticking up for Lisa Rinna. Everyone loses their gloss a little bit on RHOBH after a while. Fickle fans become upset as they take sides with various stars. But most fans just watch Bravo for entertainment, And they hate it when influencers from Tinsel Town start spouting politics. Now, Garcelle ended up slam-dunked and roasted for speaking about President Trump in a demeaning way.
Garcelle Beauvais spouts anti-Tump sentiment
When Pat Robertson, the Televangelist spouted off against Donald Trump, some people suspected he climbed on the anti-Trump sentiment bandwagon. After all, it’s rather fashionable to do so these days. However, he previously supported Trump completely. And in fact, he claimed God had a chat with him and told him that Donald would win the 2020 election. Then, in a royal flip-flop, he said that Trump should not contest the elections again. He described the possibility as “a sideshow” and that “it will be a mistake.”
Somehow, a televangelist talking politics, even a flip-flopping one, seems more acceptable to a lot of people than your average reality TV star like Garcelle Beauvais. When Lisa Vanderpump heard Garcelle joined RHOBH, she warned her to “run.” Lisa knew that backstabbing, stress, and drama takes a toll. Plus, keeping fans happy takes a lot of dedicated devotion. Drama’s okay, but still, it takes a skillful balancing act. Perhaps Garcelle should have listened to Lisa. Or at least she might have taken the hint from Lisa who acknowledged “her fans mean the world to her.” Spouting politics seldom keeps fans loyal and dedicated.
Trump supporters slam Garcelle for mocking Donald
For a very long time, Trump supporters just sat quietly as their choice for president got dragged and slammed. But since the close election this year, which clearly divided the nation, they stay silent less often. So, when Garcelle shared a meme about “Lonney Tunes,” many of them shouted her down. A lot of critics felt she should just keep her opinions to herself. After all, Trump as president never affected her income and luxury lifestyle for one second.
One follower of Garcelle Beauvais commented, “Like you were really effected (sic) by Trump! You’ll soon see how the [Biden and Harris run] this country. Garcelle, you have no clue how regular people live. Get a grip! What did Trump do to you personally?? Go back to your gated community and live your life with your rose colored glasses.”
Another angry RHOBH follower noted that it seemed beneath Garcelle to share this sort of thing. They wrote, “Are you kidding me? I think he’s a total clown, but this is so beneath you. Not queen material, right here.”
That might be something Garcelle Beauvais should consider. You see, as Chrissy Teigen found out, fans like reality TV stars for light entertainment. Many of them really don’t care for them spouting off about politics. While Garcelle might personally feel she can afford to lose her Trump supporter fans, that could theoretically extrapolate to about 50% of her followers unfollowing. Many of her fans slammed her, not just one or two. Maybe she should think about that if she hopes to retain her popularity numbers.
