Fans thought that James might not play for a couple of weeks, which included the Christmas Day game. However, James shared an update of his minor injury which makes a lot of fans excited.
On Christmas Eve, he said, “I’ll be ready to go tomorrow on Christmas Day. I’ve never missed a Christmas Day game, and I don’t plan on missing one tomorrow.” It appears that James is no longer suffering from his twisted ankle.

James scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 10 assist in his 15th Christmas Day game. During the third quarter, James hits a step-back 3-pointer to pass Oscar Robertson into 2nd place of the all-time scoring leaders on Christmas Day. James has 383 points in 15 Christmas Day games. He’s now behind Kobe Bryant’s 395 points in 16 Christmas Day games. The Lakers defeated the Mavericks with a score of 138-115.
Stephen Curry Becomes The 2nd All-Time Scoring Leader In The Warriors Franchise
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry also played in the Christmas Day game against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, the Bucks ended in a blowout win with a score of 138-99. Meanwhile, Curry becomes the 2nd all-time scoring leader in the Warriors franchise. He now has 16,454 career points which pass NBA Legend Rick Barry’s 16,447 career points. Wilt Chamberlain is currently the 1st all-time scoring leader in the Warriors with 17,783 career points.

Meanwhile, his partner Kyrie Irving scored 37 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists as they defeated the Celtics with a score of 123-95. Fans are impressed with Durant’s unstoppable offense despite resting for 552 days. On the other hand, the Celtics had to sit Kemba Walker due to his sore knee. He also had a stem cell injection to his knee and is expected to sit out until the first week of January 2021.
