Lakers’ Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Says He’s Highly Determined Next Season
The Los Angeles Lakers have been very consistent even with LeBron James sitting out. According to Lakers point guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, “I feel great, my body isn’t where it needs to be, but I’m getting there. Because of the short turnaround that we did have, I’m trying to get my body there and just being professional about that.”
Caldwell-Pope’s determination has been helping the Lakers win their preseason games. He scored 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists as they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers with a score of 131-106 last Sunday. With Rajon Rondo’s departure, fans are expecting Caldwell-Pope to play more minutes next season.
NBA: Giannis Antetokounmpo Sees Bright Future With The Bucks
Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo has been showing dominance over the past two games against the Dallas Mavericks. However, they always fell short against the unstoppable scoring of Luka Doncic. Now, Giannis is looking forward to bring the Bucks to the top after he signed a $228 million maximum contract extension. During an interview, Giannis said, “I just want to have kids, being able to raise my kids, and win a championship.” He also said, “After that, my life’s complete. I can retire in five years. Nah, I’m joking.”
Giannis seems to hint about a bright future for the Bucks. At this point, the Bucks have yet to sign a new player that can help Giannis reach the finals. Recently, Giannis and the Bucks showed their interest in obtaining James Harden after he requested to get traded to a contender team. However, Harden recently played with the Rockets, which seems to show that he’ll stay with the team.
The NBA 2020-21 season will begin on Tuesday, December 22.
