Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the most highly-anticipated games that arrived on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, players faced several problems during the launch week of the game. One of which is the game’s ability to run at a smooth frame per second, also known as FPS. Apparently, there are instances in the game where it only runs at 30 FPS on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Fans aren’t happy about it, especially that the game works only on next-gen consoles. Fortunately, Ubisoft released a patch that will fix the FPS issues and more.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: 1.0.4 Update Brings FPS Fix
According to Ubisoft, the 1.0.4 update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will bring a new option called Choosing Performance, which will allow players to adjust the graphics of the game and make it run at a fixed 60 FPS. The option will be available for all consoles.
Aside from that, players can also select the Choosing Quality option, allowing the game to run at the highest possible settings while maintaining a fixed 30 FPS. The update also brings stability and performance improvements, such as stuttering lags that occur while playing the game. The PC version will also receive a fix in the RAM leaking issue when alt-tabbing to the desktop.
New Background Images And Quality-Of-Life Changes Arrives
Players will be able to see new background images with the latest update of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Furthermore, Ubisoft released several quality-of-life changes in the game, such as the option to automatically assign skill points, the addition of Weapon Runes and Armor Runes to their respective sections, the ability to move sliders with left and right buttons, and the addition of fabric limit to 82. Furthermore, players can now access the requirements for an offering in the game’s world map.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Latest Update Brings Combat Changes
The 1.0.4 update will now fix several issues regarding the game’s combat system. One of which is the issue where the bow-aiming doesn’t aim correctly. Aside from that, the character will now consume stamina when blocking Blocking Springald projectiles. Players should also be very careful in the latest update as NPCs will now react when they try to steal something.
Furthermore, Guards will now hear the impact of dead bodies when being dropped in the ground. The issue where players cannot use abilities anymore when the Dive of the Valkyries ability got interrupted is also fixed. Enemies that got tackled to the ground will no longer be able to get assassinated as well. The 1.0.4 update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also brings changes to the game’s quests, raids, photo mode, and save game issues.
