Black Widow is one of the most anticipated movies this year. It was supposed to release on Nov 6, 2020. However, the global pandemic forced the much-awaited film to be delayed until May 7, 2021. Following the disappointing news, Marvel decided to release a Black Widow tie-in book, which offers incredible photos of the characters in the movie. Apparently, a fan leaked some photos inside the book. One of which is the main villain in the movie, Taskmaster. Take a look at the best looks of the villain below.
Black Widow Tie-In Book Reveals Accurate Photos Of Taskmaster
In a social media post, a fan shared several photos of Taskmaster in the tie-in book of Black Widow. It’s one of the clearest full body shots of Taskmaster so far as the Black Widow trailer only revealed small details. The hood and skull mask of Taskmaster can be seen in the photo, which is his signature look in the comics. Taskmaster’s shield is also very similar to his comic version, which has the letter “T” symbol in it. They also took the accurate color pattern of Taskmaster’s overall costume from the comics.

Who Is Taskmaster?
Taskmaster first appeared in The Avengers #195 in 1980. There are two origin stories of Taskmaster so far. The first one was he discovered his powers naturally as a boy. His second origin was made by Fred Van Lente, where he received his powers from a steroid formulated by a Nazi scientist. However, Taskmaster wasn’t always a bad guy. At one point, he teamed up with S.H.I.E.L.D. and Thunderbolts. This created several theories from the fans where Taskmaster might have a change of heart at some point in the movie. However, the trailer shows a violent and villainous version of Taskmaster.
Black Widow Will Be Scarlett Johansson’s Last Film In The MCU
According to Black Widow director Cate Shortland, it will be the last time fans will be able to see Scarlett Johansson playing the spy character. It’s no secret that Black Widow died in Avengers: Endgame where she jumped off a cliff in exchange for the soul stone. The Black Widow film will feature her background story including her family. Natasha Romanoff is one of the most mysterious characters in the MCU. She entered the movie without any origin stories. However, her sheer strength and intelligence earned her a spot in the Avengers. Fans immediately fell in love with Natasha’s hand-to-hand combat skills. Unfortunately, the Black Widow film might be the last time fans will ever get to see her in action.
